đȘ Meet Gram
A dash of old-fashioned wisdom. A sprinkle of kindness. A mailbox full of heart.
Meet Gramâa grandmother with a heart bigger than her cookie jar and an uncanny knack for saying just the right thing when you need it most.
With her mischievous cat Marmelade and playful kitten Swiftie by her side, Gram sends handwritten letters filled with encouragement, cozy stories, gentle advice, and thoughtful surprises each month to your mailbox.
Her mission is to remind you that youâre loved, you matter, and someone out there is rooting for youâalways. Twelve letters a year will make going to the mailbox fun again, and remind you of how important you are in this world.
Because sometimes, what the world needs most⊠is a letter from Gram.
Meet the Author Behind Letters From Gram
Growing up, I experienced a profound absence. My paternal grandmother, Gertrude Anne, passed away when I was only two years old. I'm told she was short like me and had a passion for poetryâsometimes I wonder if my love of writing is a thread connecting us across time.
Â
My maternal grandmother, Eunice, lived far away, and I saw her just once or twice a year before she passed away before my 18th birthday. I never truly got to know either of them.
Â
Throughout my life, I've felt the absence of that special grandmother relationshipâsomeone I could call when I needed encouragement, someone who would offer wisdom about life's complexities, careers, relationships, and love.
Â
To fill this void, I began writing letters to myself from an imaginary grandmother, creating the nurturing voice I longed to hear.
Â
These personal letters became a source of comfort and guidance during challenging times, and I realized I wasn't alone in this longing. Many of us yearn for this kind of loving family connectionâa gentle voice of experience sharing both practical advice and emotional support.
Â
That's why I created Letters From Gram. Each letter is crafted with the same care and attention I put into the ones I write for myself, offering the grandmother's wisdom and warmth that so many of us seek.
Â
My hope is that these letters bring you comfort, joy, and the feeling of connection that comes from knowing someone cares about your journey.
Â
When you receive a Letter From Gram, you're receiving a piece of the grandmother relationship I've always imaginedâand perhaps one you've imagined too.
